HDB resale renovation, from hacking to handover.

A resale flat usually needs more than a fresh coat of paint. The wiring may be decades old, the bathrooms tired, and the layout built for a different family. We plan and carry out the whole job, so you deal with one contractor and one schedule instead of coordinating five trades yourself.

What a resale renovation typically includes

For a fuller resale renovation, the site works and carpentry are planned together so the measurements, trades and installation follow one schedule.

  • Hacking of non-structural walls, old tiles and built-ins, and disposal
  • Masonry, floor and wall tiling, or overlay where the existing floor allows it
  • Electrical rewiring, new DB box where required, and lighting and power points planned around your furniture
  • Plumbing and sanitary works in kitchen, bathrooms and service yard
  • False ceiling, cornices and painting
  • Carpentry for kitchen, wardrobes, storage, TV console and feature walls, made in our own workshop
  • Doors, windows and grilles, through our partners
  • HDB renovation permit application and compliance with HDB guidelines

HDB rules we manage for you

HDB requires a renovation permit for works such as hacking, floor replacement and bathroom works, and only contractors listed in its Directory of Renovation Contractors may carry them out.

We are listed (No. HB-01-3459G), submit the permit, and keep the works within permitted hours and scope, including the rules on which walls may be removed. You do not need to learn the guidelines; you need a contractor who already follows them.

Built for the flat you have

Why resale owners choose a contractor with a workshop

Resale flats rarely have square walls or standard recesses. Carpentry that is measured, built and installed by the same team fits the flat you actually have. When something needs adjusting on site, the answer comes from our workshop, not from a supplier’s queue.

Measured on site · Built in Singapore, Woodlands · Installed with the renovation
BUILT LOCALLY · HERE WHEN YOU NEED US

Our workshop is in Singapore, and that changes how your job runs.

Most renovation carpentry in Singapore is made in an overseas factory and shipped in. Ours is made at our own workshop in Woodlands. That means lead times are ours to control, not a shipping schedule’s; a piece that needs adjusting goes back to Woodlands and returns in days, not weeks; you can walk in during office hours and see your cabinets being made; and when the job is done we are a short drive away, not a supplier on the other side of a border.

HDB resale renovation FAQs

It depends on the scope, especially how much hacking and rewiring is involved. We give you a written schedule with the quotation rather than a number over the phone.

Not comfortably during hacking and wet works. Most owners move in after painting. We can sequence the job so one bedroom is finished early if you have no choice.

No. We prepare and submit it. You will need to give us the flat owner’s details for the application.

Yes, though our strength is the fuller scope a resale flat needs. If you are a BTO owner who wants more than a package, we are happy to quote.
