Bathroom and toilet renovation.

Bathrooms are small rooms with high stakes: waterproofing that fails shows up in the neighbour’s ceiling. We renovate bathrooms and toilets as a complete job, from hacking to the vanity cabinet, and we treat the waterproofing as the step that matters most.

What a bathroom renovation includes

We coordinate the wet works, sanitary fittings and storage around your bathroom’s layout, with waterproofing checked before the tiles go down.

  • Hacking of existing tiles, fittings and screed, and disposal
  • Waterproofing membrane and water-ponding test before tiling
  • Floor and wall tiling, or overlay where the substrate allows
  • Plumbing and drainage adjustments, concealed piping where the layout permits
  • Sanitary ware: WC, basin, taps, rain shower, heater and accessories
  • Tempered-glass shower screen
  • Vanity cabinet and mirror cabinet made in our workshop, in moisture-resistant materials
  • Lighting, ventilation and painting
PLANNING & REQUIREMENTS

Planning your HDB bathroom renovation

Within the first 3 years

Overlay existing tiles

HDB does not allow bathroom floor and wall tiles in a new flat to be hacked for 3 years from the block’s completion date, to protect the original waterproofing.

In that period we overlay: new tiles laid over the existing ones, within HDB’s 13 mm limit. The same rule applies to prefabricated bathroom units.

Keep the original waterproofing intact
AFTER THE RESTRICTION

Hack and re-tile

Once the restriction is over, we hack the old finishes and rebuild from the slab up, with an HDB permit.

Waterproofing screed and membrane go in to HDB’s specification, and we flood-test the floor before any tile is laid. That test is part of every hack-and-re-tile job, not an extra.

Waterproofing and flood test included

We check the flat’s eligibility and permit requirements before confirming the scope.

Bathroom renovation FAQs

Yes. Many clients do both at once because the wet works share the same crew and the noisy days happen once.

Overlay is faster and quieter and keeps the existing waterproofing. Hacking is the right call when the old waterproofing has failed or the floor level must change. We inspect before we recommend.

Yes, we are a one-stop renovation company and have the relevant experience to assist you with sanitary wares.

General renovation works may be carried out from 9am to 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays. Noisy works such as hacking and drilling are limited to 9am to 5pm on weekdays, with none on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Hacking of floor and wall finishes must be completed within three consecutive days, and HDB sets an overall completion period for the renovation, which we confirm when we apply for the permit.
